Prayer Journal - Seasonal Prayers

Seasons come and seasons go. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Burdens can be seasonal. Situations come to pass. So, let’s create a section in our prayer journal given to this particular idea.

Seasonal prayers can include short term goals, church vision/programs, fasting focus, work timelines, or school schedules. In this video, I am going to show a couple of ways to make temporary prayer prompts that can be changed out as the time or season changes. My husband travels every week to a different place in the world to minister. I wanted to create a way to rotate those upcoming places of ministry each week. I could have saved this for the places section. That would’ve worked as well, but this is the direction I decided to go.

I want to keep reiterating that this prayer journal should be personal to you. Your relationship with God is unique to you. Don’t be afraid to make this journal your own. If you do yours differently from me, it makes perfect sense, cause God is dealing with you different than He is dealing with me and vice versa.

I also added a prayer point that is based on where I am in a particular place in my walk with God. Understanding God as my father has been a lifelong journey for me. I am still in that journey, but I know it is seasonal. I know that this desire will grow and develop and then it will just be a part of me and I will not need to focus prayer in that direction, but I am sure there will be another aspect to my relationship with Him that will take its place, so I want to journal these things in a way that I can add and take away as the seasons change.

Please join me as I journal Seasonal Prayers!
